Download to Color Section 08 of the 2023 Mandala of the Year
Continuing with honoring the Chinese Year of the Rabbit which started on January 22, Section 8 of the 2023 Mandala of the Year is now available. This month’s characteristic associated with Rabbit energy is “patient”. With this month’s section of the MotY, we are encouraged to be patient with others and more importantly with ourselves. It helps to remind ourselves that everyone, including us, is doing the best they can with where they are and with who they are…that we are doing the best we can. In other words…we are all works in progress.
From VeryWellMind.com about being patient with ourselves: “You are often your biggest critic. This is why you tend to be short with yourself when you feel like you might be falling behind in life. All the reasons for being more patient with others apply to you too. To be patient with yourself, start by remembering you are not perfect. Some things take time, and mistakes will be made along the way.” Being more mindful, doing deep breathing, and slowing down are three ways we can practice patience.
This also reminds me of something I hear often from my Team of Guides and Angels: “We have all the time we need to do all that we need to do—even if it takes a couple of lifetimes to do it.” BTW coloring the Mandala of the Year is a perfect opportunity to practice patience…since it’s going to take a whole year to receive all 12 sections. 😁
