Continuing with honoring the Chinese Year of the Rabbit which started on January 22, Section 11 of the 2023 Mandala of the Year is now available. This month’s characteristic associated with Rabbit energy is “adaptable”.

We are encouraged to be like the rabbit: adapt and survive despite fear and vulnerability. Along the same lines, learn to embrace change…because: “There is nothing permanent except change.”

This reminds of playing tennis. Next time you happen to watch a tennis match, notice the players’ feet. They are not planted solidly on the ground. Instead the players shift their weight back and forth, staying light on their feet so that in a moment’s notice, they can quickly and easily change their position. Just like rabbits do when they are out and about.
