We celebrated the Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. It’s the year of the Wood Dragon. Throughout the year we will be exploring different traits of the wood dragon. This month: Section 6: Diplomacy.

The Wood Dragon embodies growth, creativity, and renewal. Diplomacy often involves transforming conflicts into cooperation and fostering new relationships, mirroring the dragon’s association with transformation and new beginnings. We are encouraged this month to embrace the diplomatic traits of sensitivity and tact in all of our engagements.

In 2024, we are encouraged to joyfully explore our creativity. The coloring of these sections is intended as one way of doing just that. Feel free to play with new and/or different ways to “color”. As you become more comfortable with being creative, let it spill out into all areas of your life.

BTW: Coloring in the lines is optional!

I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits. Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it. As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
