We celebrated the Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. It’s the year of the Wood Dragon. Throughout the year we will be exploring different traits of the wood dragon. This month: Section 7: Humor.

Who wouldn’t love a dragon with a sense of humor? The downside might mean getting burned once in a while whenever it laughs out loud…but hey, you just keep a fire extinguisher on hand at all times. Besides would you rather be around a happy dragon or an angry one?

By “humoring” our dragon, it helps reduce the dragon’s stress levels, it improves its mood, it makes it easier to communicate with it, and it enhances our relationship with it (or them if there’s more than one dragon in your life). Of course humor can offer these same benefits to all of us humans as well.

In 2024, we are encouraged to joyfully explore our creativity. The coloring of these sections is intended as one way of doing just that. Feel free to play with new and/or different ways to “color”. As you become more comfortable with being creative, let it spill out into all areas of your life.

BTW: Coloring in the lines is optional!
