We celebrated the Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. It’s the year of the Wood Dragon. Throughout the year we will be exploring different traits of the wood dragon. This month: Section 9: Generous.

Dragons, particularly in Eastern mythology, are revered for their wisdom. They generously offer guidance and knowledge to those who seek it, helping others grow spiritually or achieve their potential. They also are know for protecting not only treasure but also entire realms or communities. Their presence offers safety and stability, which can be seen as a form of generosity, providing security and peace of mind to those under their watch.

When we think of generosity we often think of it monetarily. The Wood Dragon is encouraging us to discover how we can be generous in other ways…especially with our wisdom.

In 2024, we are encouraged to joyfully explore our creativity. The coloring of these sections is intended as one way of doing just that. Feel free to play with new and/or different ways to “color”. As you become more comfortable with being creative, let it spill out into all areas of your life.

BTW: Coloring in the lines is optional!

I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
