My overarching theme for 2025 is a quest for peace…mainly from within. After all, the outside world is just a reflection of our inside world. So if we want peace in the world, then we must claim it from within. With each section throughout the year, we’ll explore different aspects of peace using 12 different words that translate as peace in some way…and gradually reveal this year’s Mandala of the Year. Here’s this month’s word:

Unity – A sense of wholeness or oneness that brings peace

Represents a collective peace achieved through oneness or wholeness, such as unity in diversity. In African Philosophy: Ubuntu, meaning “I am because we are,” highlights communal harmony. It reminds us that there is strength in connection and togetherness.

Possible action steps:

  1. Coloring: As you color this section, reflect on areas in your everyday life where wholeness is lacking.
  2. Practice: Reach out to someone in your community or family and reflect on how connection fosters peace.
  3. Practice: Host or join a group meditation focused on collective healing and harmony. Imagine your energies intertwining with others in a golden web of unity.
  4. Metaphysical Tool: Use clear quartz to amplify the energy of unity and interconnectedness.

As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
