We celebrated the Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. It’s the year of the Wood Dragon. Throughout the year we will be exploring different traits of the wood dragon. This month: Section 3: Versatility.

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “versatility” as: the quality of being able to change easily or for something to be used for different purposes. This month’s section encourages us to be open to easily changing our minds, our selves, our purpose, our skill set, our talents, our environment, our situation, our perspective…anything that could do with a little shaking up so as to experience ourselves and our lives differently…and hopefully for the better. At the very least we’ll gain greater insight on potentially new directions for us to explore.

In 2024, we are encouraged to joyfully explore our creativity. The coloring of these sections is intended as one way of doing just that. Feel free to play with new and/or different ways to “color”. As you become more comfortable with being creative, let it spill out into all areas of your life.

BTW: Coloring in the lines is optional!

I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits. Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it. As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
