In honor of the Chinese Year of the Sheep/Goat/Ram that began February 19, 2015, I’m dedicating the 2015 Mandala of the Year to the Goat. Each month we’ll explore a trait or symbol of the goat to explore how we can incorporate it into our own lives.
For Section 11 we look at the goat energy of practical.
In the case of goats, more and more people are finding it to be very practical to use goats for weed control. As this particular video professes: Organic Weed Control 100% natural: Convert Weeds to Fertilizer with Goats
In looking up the definition of the word “practical”, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary offers this:
of, relating to, or manifested in practice or action : not theoretical or ideal
How many wonderful ideas do we have floating around in our head that we have yet to make manifest? We think about them and think about them and still they await action from us to make them real.
Chances are, at the core of our thinking and thinking lies fear, diabolically telling us things like “why would you want to do that?” or “someone’s probably already done it” or “what makes you think you can do that?” Need we write any more examples?
With this month’s section, let’s make November the month where we take a serious look at all our ideas (sane ones as well as wild ones) in an effort to come up with a plan for 2016 to bring them to life.
Let’s stop theorizing and make it so…like the goats who convert weeds to fertilizer!
Ponder this while coloring this month’s section of the 2015 Mandala of the Year.
