In honor of this year’s Chinese New Year which began on January 28, 2017, I’m dedicating the 2017 Mandala of the Year to the Rooster. Each month we’ll explore a trait or symbol of the rooster to see how we can incorporate it into our own lives.
For Section 2 we look at the rooster energy of protection.
This month’s section of the MotY asks us, from what are we protecting ourselves? And why? Our experience within human form is finite. In pure form, our experience as Consciousness is infinite.
In human form we fear loss and thus do all we can to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our possessions, sometimes at all costs. The more we fear loss, the more we lose our true selves. We limit what we do and our potential under the guise of protecting ourselves by playing it safe. Dare to be all that we can be!
Remember…
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
