In honor of the upcoming Chinese New Year which begins on January 28, 2017, I’m dedicating the 2017 Mandala of the Year to the Rooster. Each month we’ll explore a trait or symbol of the rooster to see how we can incorporate it into our own lives.
For Section 1 we look at the rooster energy of leader.
When we think of leaders and leadership we usually think of it in relationship to others. This section of the 2017 MotY inspires us to be the leader of our own lives. Instead of following what others tell us to do or what they think we should do, we are encouraged to follow our own lead.
Answer questions like:
- what do I dream of doing?
- what to I want to learn?
- what more do I want to do?
Then go do it!
