Download to Color Section 02 of the 2023 Mandala of the Year
Continuing with honoring the Chinese Year of the Rabbit which started on January 22, Section 2 of the 2023 Mandala of the Year is now available. This month’s characteristic associated with Rabbit energy is “elegant”.
BTW: It may seem like, that so far, all of these sections look the same. Granted they are similar and yet I assure you as the months go by, the full scope of this mandala will make itself known to you. Hang in there.
Google defines being “elegant” two ways: 1) pleasingly graceful and stylish in appearance or manner, and 2) (of a scientific theory or solution to a problem) pleasingly ingenious and simple.
From Modern-Elegance-Style.com they define “being elegant” as a mindset, an attitude: Being elegant in your mind is about becoming a gentle, patient and compassionate person, and showing good manners. An important aspect of elegance is being very mindful about your thoughts, your movements and knowing your worth. Elegance is a certain attitude toward personal growth, and everyone may have different ideas to what that incorporates. Generally it involves kindness, positivity and focus. Elegance is being grateful for what you have, but having high expectations for yourself and others. It is a better quality of life. A better job, a better relationship. Elegance is educating yourself and setting appropriate boundaries for yourself.“
In essence, being elegant is less about how your look and more about who you are and how you present yourself from the inside out.
“Elegance is usually
— Paulo Coelho
confused with superficiality,
fashion, lack of depth.
This is a serious mistake:
human beings need to have
elegance in their actions
and in their posture
because this word is synonymous
with good taste, amiability,
equilibrium and harmony.”
